The Expanded CORE Six (6) Health Care Program was launched last August 10, 2011 during the Manila's Finest Ice Breaker cut-off activity held at the 7th Floor Activity Center of Caritas Building, Quezon City. SAVP Ed Cano explained the features of the Expanded CORE 6 and how these may be translated into benefits for the prospects. |

The Expanded CORE 6 is a take-off from the Expanded CORE 10 Health Care Program which we offer to corporate prospects as a stand alone product. Initially, the CORE 6 program may be offered to corporate accounts who will give it as a 100% company-paid benefit for its employees. The advantages of subscribing to the Core 6 Program are:
• It makes available to companies the innovative benefits of our Expanded CORE Healthcare Program at a more affordable and defined cost.
• It protects the company from any premium increases through a 5-year pay plan with a level premium for 5 years, irrespective of amount of utilization, with guaranteed annual increases in Medical Benefits.
• It provides Comprehensive Healthcare Coverage and a Complete Membership Privilege package that an employee may enjoy with his required active membership in the government's PhilHealth Program.
• It offers a wide range of plans to cover the different levels of the organization.
• It provides a free additional year of coverage to the employee after the five-year paying period.
SAVP Cano reminded the audience of the updated guidelines to be observed with Corporate Accounts as follows:
• A corporate prospect must be a private or a government-owned / government-controlled corporation.
• Membership fees / premiums are 100% company-subsidized (non-contributory on the part of the employee)
• Minimum of ten (10) regular employees will be enrolled
• Applications for franchise may be sent and will be accepted through RFA, email at corp_mktg@caritashealthshield.com.ph , fax at telephone # 732-5207 or text message at 0917-3103264.
• Unless denied or disapproved through written notice or text within 24 hours from receipt of franchise application, the franchise will be deemed approved.
As part of the product's launch, the Expanded Core 6 Program may also be offered as a family plan to prospects under the following guidelines:
- Family members shall simultaneously purchase a minimum of three (3) plans (Plan A+ to F).
- Family members are defined as the father, mother and eldest child.
- Should there be more than three (3) members within the family, ideally, all family members shall be enrolled to maximize the Family Plan Feature. Subsequent enrollment of additional members whether on an individual basis or even in a batch of three (3) will not be allowed.
- Family members may avail of this Feature provided the following concurrent requirements are met:
- The applicants are Family members and have purchased the plans in the prescribed hierarchy.
- All plans are purchased simultaneously or remitted on the same date (with same OR date).
- All plans will be kept in force and their respective installments paid simultaneously. Should any of the plans be in lapsed status, the benefits of the remaining active plans shall likewise be suspended pending payment of installment/s due on lapsed plan/s.
- Should any of the plans be terminated for non-payment of due installment beyond the prescribed grace period, the benefits of the remaining active plans shall also be suspended. Plans will be put on active status once payment of installment and surcharges are made plus completion of prevailing requirements for a new applicant for membership.
- Should plans on monthly mode of payment lapse and subsequently get reinstated, the mode of payment for such plans shall be changed to the quarterly mode for the remainder of the paying period.
To get that needed motivation to push the family plan, it was announced that for a limited period, family prospects may purchase their Family Plan using the lower Corporate Rates and with a monthly mode of payment. A question and answer portion followed the presentation.
The President, in his inspirational message, explained that the CORE 6 will have for its product tagline "Sandigan ng mga Kompanya" for corporate accounts and "Sandigan ng mga Pamilya" for the family plan. These taglines will establish the CORE 6's target market and, ultimately, its brand in the market. He also acknowledged the different questions and concerns raised by the audience regarding the mechanics and guidelines of the just presented program. He asked for the audience's patience as we first try to market the CORE 6 program in its present form to our corporate and family prospects and urged everyone to give feedback on needed adjustments so we may better meet the needs of our prospects. To everyone's delight, the President announced the immediate extension of the special Corporate Rate for the Family Plan up to September 30, 2011.
Certificates of Recognition and cash prizes were awarded by the President and Manila's Finest program chairman SAVP R. D. Acolola to the Top Agency Manager, Group Manager and Health Counselor for the month of July 2011. Cash prizes and grocery items were raffled off to lucky attendees. SAVP's Butch Molina and Raffy Ibarreta hosted the program. |
