SLAGA
The latest addition to CHSI – Salary Savings Scheme |

If you chance upon a Health Counselor, specializing in group/corporate accounts and ask him what could be an ideal group or corporate account he would sell to, he would, perhaps, stare at you, shake his head and answer you matter-of-factly (as if your question does not deserve a straight-forward answer )…."an account with a lot of members, the members can afford to pay and with a regular salary deduction system that could ensure the prompt payment of the employees' premium".
True enough, this is the ideal set-up of an account that agents would want to prospect when it comes to SSS (Salary Savings Scheme). This is the category of account where SLAGA (SAVINGS AND LOANS ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENT AUDITORS) belongs: a lot of members, the type of members who can afford even high-end plans and a system that can guarantee regularity of payment of premiums through salary deduction. In fact, it came as a pleasant surprise when the proposal sent by Caritas Health Shield, Inc., thru Ms. Annie Guillermo, Agency Manager of Caritas Health Shield, Inc., was met positively by the President of the Association, Ms. Emma M. Espina. She signed the Memorandum of Agreement in behalf of the members last August 10, 2011, signaling the start of the solicitation process to all the SLAGA members.
With the entry of the prestigious SLAGA in the roster of about a hundred accounts under the newly established Salary Savings Scheme of Caritas Health Shield, Inc. and Caritas Financial Plans, Inc., we are deeply honored with the trust and confidence afforded our company by the members of SLAGA by entrusting to us the healthcare coverage of their members. On the other hand, we are optimistic that the Counselors will emulate the efforts done and the professionalism employed by the Caritas representatives led by SAVP Butch Molina and AM Annie Guillermo in the selection, negotiation and closing of this very valuable account. May your tribe increase! |
